The New Wiepersdorf Fellows 2025

An independent jury nominated the 14 artists and academics who will each complete a three-month fellowship at Schloss Wiepersdorf between March and November 2025. These fellowships are funded by the state of Brandenburg.

The following artists and scientists were selected by the jury out of 815 applications from 72 countries:

Science/Topics focusing on the previously divided Germany: Dr. Gunnar Decker, Priya Kumari, Lukas Zittlau. Science/Romanticism: Tabea Lamberti, Nora Weinelt. Literature: Luna Ali, Paula Fürstenberg, அவ்ரீனா AVRINA. Visual arts: Jeanna Kolesova, Gala Hernández López, Kaj Osteroth. Composition: Gerhardt Müller-Goldboom, Dorothee Schabert, Ying Wang.

The jury consisted of Prof. Dr Iwan-Michelangelo D'Aprile and Dr Martina Wernli as well as Dr Ilko-Sascha Kowalczuk and Dr Mandy Tröger for science, Andreas Platthaus and Brigitte Helbling for literature, Katia Reich and Prof. Sandra Schäfer for visual arts, and Heike Hoffmann and Jens Schubbe for composition.
