The Naked Theatre

The Naked Theatre is an international collaboration of performing artists (dancers, choreographers, actors, dramaturges, directors) exploring new forms and new ways of creating theater. At the suggestion of Luk Perceval, the Naked Theatre was founded in March 2023 by 12 international theater makers to offer an open forum for artistic and practical working methods.

In Wiepersdorf, the artists of the Naked Theatre came together for the first time and the first project of the Naked Theatre "The Hour of Truth" was realized. At the same time, interested parties were invited to take part in the discourse of the Naked Theatre artist community. One question was at the heart of the workshop: "Why are you on stage?" It was also about exploring personal stories, which can thus become a basis for artistic work.
