The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation continued its cooperation with the Schloss Wiepersdorf Cultural Foundation with its residency program.

The group worked on the annual theme “Power and Knowledge: Confronting Global Imbalances in our Knowledge Systems” in Schloss Wiepersdorf. This event brought together top-class academics, artists and journalists from Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Australia, India, Mauritius, Great Britain, Mongolia, Botswana, Nepal and Germany. The group spent part of the Humboldt Residency Programme at Schloss Wiepersdorf, where they discussed the topics of the annual programme and worked together on strategies to combat the unequal distribution of access to knowledge and to raise awareness of global knowledge resources.
