PUSSY RIOT IN WIEPERSDORF
At the end of May, Pussy Riot – a feminist protest and performance group from Moscow – stopped off at Wiepersdorf Castle for a few days between two concerts. In addition to a musical taster, there were talks about possible joint projects.

Reading by authors from GEDOK - Association of Communities of Women Artists and Art Supporters e. V. from the book published in 2022 Wir sprechen vom Wasser. Gedichte und Geschichten (We are talking about Water. Poems and Short Stories, projektverlag, Bochum/Freiburg). The publication contains texts by 47 female authors who approach the topic of water from different perspectives and through different genres.

Exhibition, reading, music and talks about collectivization, industrialization, and privatization after 1989 in the villages of Niederer Fläming. The historian Dr. Iris Berndt and the publicist Dr. Alena Wagnerová, who met during a scholarship stay in Schloss Wiepersdorf in 2021, present the results of their research work in the region. Beate Klemens plays the violin.

SPECIAL EXHIBITION IN THE MUSEUM
In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum also hosts a special exhibition by Ingeborg Rauss. Her works are dedicated to forgotten female artists such as Marie Egner, Friedl Dicker-Brandeis, and others.

CAFÉ, MUSEUM AND PARK
The Museum in the Castle and the Café in the Orangery of Wiepersdorf Castle are open on Sundays from 1.00 to 5.00 p.m. during the summer months.
The castle park can be visited all year round. Thanks to our open air “Kosmos Wiepersdorf”, you can walk a small tour on your own and get information via QR Codes.
