Sergey Bratkov was born in 1960 in Kharkov, Ukraine. Graduated Repin Art College, Kharkov, Ukraine, 1978; Polytechnical Academy, Kharkov, Ukraine, 1983. In 1994 he organized "Fast reaction group" with Boris Michailov, Sergei Salonsky and Victoria Michailova. In 2010 took the first prize of the 5th Annual All-Russian Awards in the field of contemporary visual art "Innovation". Since 2000 he lives and works in Moscow, Russia. His projects have been presented in solo exhibitions at REGINA Gallery, Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art, Russia; Pinchuk Art Centre, Kiev, Ukraine; Kunstverein Rosenheim, Germany; Espacio Minimo Gallery, Madrid, Spain; Transit Gallery, Mechelen, Belgium; S.M.A.K.
